Boarder Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and explains Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Personal Data

  • Google account information provided through Google Sign-In

  • Calendar event data retrieved from Google Calendar (read-only access)

  • Boarder uses Google Sign-In and the Google Calendar API (read-only scope) to provide core functionality.

  • When You connect a Google account, We may access the following Google user data only with Your explicit consent:

  • Basic profile information (such as name and email address) for authentication

  • Calendar event data (such as event title, start time, end time, and calendar identifiers)

Purpose of Use

Google user data is used solely to:

  • Authenticate You into the Service

  • Allow You to connect and manage one or multiple Google accounts

  • Read calendar events from Google Calendar

  • Display calendar events in a timeline within the Application

  • Boarder does not modify, create, or delete Google Calendar events.

Limited Use Disclosure

Boarder’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features explicitly requested by You

  • Google user data is not used for advertising or marketing purposes

  • Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties

  • Human access to Google user data is strictly limited to security, legal compliance, or user-requested support

Data Storage and Processing

  • Google Calendar data is stored locally on the user’s device

  • Data is not transmitted to or stored on external servers

  • Data is not shared with third parties

  • You may disconnect Your Google account at any time, which immediately stops further access to Google data.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s IP address, browser type, browser version, pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, unique device identifiers, and diagnostic data.

When accessing the Service through a mobile device, additional information such as device type, operating system, and mobile browser type may also be collected.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service

  • Manage Your Account and authentication

  • Perform contractual obligations

  • Contact You regarding updates, security notices, or service-related information

  • Google Calendar data is removed when:

  • You disconnect Your Google account

  • You uninstall the Application

  • You request deletion

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.
